Come lets move on to the ingredients and preparation method.

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time Taken: 10 minutes
  • Serves: 1 adult or 2 kids

Ingredients Needed for Spicy Maggi Noodles:

  • Maggi, 1 pack (with taste maker)
  • Onion, 1 nos.
  • Garlic, 3-4 nos.
  • Green chilly, 1-2 nos
  • Garam masala, a pinch
  • Coriander (for garnishing)
  • Required salt
  • Required water
  • Required oil

How to Prepare Spicy Maggi Noodles in South Indian Style?:

1. Peel off the onion's skin and chop it thinly. Slit the green chilly in center. Peel off the skin of the garlic pods and mince them well. Cleanse and mince the coriander leaves. Keep all these aside. These are the 4 main flavoring ingredients (excluding garam masala) of our easy and spicy Maggi noodles recipe.

 2. Heat the pan and add 2-3 teaspoons of oil to it. I don't prefer adding more oil to the Maggi recipe as I somehow feel it would ruin the taste. (Just my personal opinion) 2 teaspoons are enough to saute the masala ingredients.

3. Now add the minced garlic, chilly and chopped onion to the oil one by one. Saute well in low flame.

4. Once you find that the raw smell has gone, add a pinch of salt, Maggi taste maker and garam masala to the sauteed onion mixture. Maggi noodles taste maker already contains salt so make sure not to add it excessively. Just a pinch will do for one onion.

5. Saute this masala in low flame for 1-2 minutes and this will start stimulating the glands in your stomach :P Later, add 200 ml of water (1 1/2 cups) to the Maggi masala and raise the flame.

6. Within a minute, it will reach the high boiling point. Now it is the time to put in maggi noodles. Break the noodles into 2-3 parts before adding it to the pan.
